Our team at Dr. Robert Berlin’s clinic provide a range of services related to family dentistry in Etobicoke. This includes children’s dentistry (paedodontics), and regular adult dentistry such as, restorative dentistry and possibly periodontal (gum) treatment, or endodontics (root canal therapy), Crown and Bridge, and TMJ therapy. Dentistry for seniors would be of the same nature, but could also include removable prosthesis such as partial dentures or complete dentures. It is useful to note that our office is a retail building on the street level (at Islington and 7th Ave.), with no stairs, so we are very accessible to patients with mobility issues.

We provide a careful diagnostic evaluation of our patients including a thorough clinical exam and appropriate radiographs. We use digital radiography to minimize exposure, and only take the minimum required x-rays for each patient.

This is a recare program whereby most patients will visit the office dental hygienist every 3, 6 or 9 months (depending on their needs) for cleanings of their teeth (and gums where needed) to promote healthy dentition and gums. During most of those visits you will also be checked by the dentist, to make sure no problems are present. Young children usually start their first clinical exam and cleanings (and protective fluoride treatments) in the range of 3-5 years.
